Investors Alley Reveals New Design of Investors Alley.com
Investors Alley today revealed a brand new look to its flagship InvestorsAlley.com Web site. A new design, with an entirely new color scheme and layout, can now be seen on the site.
As part of the redesign, Investors Alley now features two new colors -- green and silver. "The new colors are more pleasing to the eyes and are also the colors of money, which is always an attractive sight," said Brett Klasko, President of Investors Alley.
The new design, which was being developed for months by the company, is expected to be followed by an expansion of Investors Alley's current content base.
Klasko said, "The new site allows us to really expand our current content offerings and add new articles and tools to each section of the site."
The new look, which replaces the initial design of the site since the company's beginning in May of 1998, keeps very little of the original design's look and feel. With the new design, Investors Alley now joins several other Web sites that have gone to a main page that streches entirely across a user's screen, thus allowing for more content to be put on the main page. This new design strategy can be attributed to an increase in the average size of monitors being used by visitors.
The new main page design introduces a "Daily Features" section at the top right of the page, which highlights the best news and analysis pieces available on the Web site. The stock market recap column is placed to the left of the daily features part, with other news and opinion articles (with headlines and descriptions) following down the rest of the page, one on top of the other.
"I'm confident this new design can put Investors Alley to the forefront of Internet financial sites. This allows for some great new features to be added shortly," Klasko said.
